From 9 to 11 May, the DEFEA will take place in Athens, Greece. The DEFEA is a high-profile international defense exhibition where international companies showcase defense systems for ground, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security. The DEFEA is organized by the Greek Ministry of National Defense with the participation of the Hellenic Manufacturers Association of Defense Material (SEPKY) and is organized by ROTA Exhibitions Greece.
To stimulate Dutch-Greek defense cooperation under the European Defence Fund (EDF), the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and the Netherlands Industries for Defense and Security (NIDV), are organizing a matchmaking day on the 8th of May in Athens. You can see this matchmaking as the perfect moment to get acquainted with the Greek defense industry partners.
At the end of the day on the 8th of May, a high-level networking reception will take place at the Residence of the Dutch Ambassador in Greece.
The matchmaking and the delegation are organized around the Partners for International Business Greece program Dutch Coalition for Defense and Security (DCDS) in Greece. For more information check the link.
Participation in the matchmaking and the evening reception on the 8th of May is free of charge. Similar to innovation missions, you will have to bear the cost of hotel & transportation to/from Athens by yourself.
If you wish to participate in the activities of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program 'Dutch Coalition for Defense and Security (DCDS) in Greece' during the DEFEA exhibition you can join the PIB companies cluster. If you’re not a cluster member, a fee of €375 applies.
The PIB activities include:
- A collective PIB NL pavilion;
- Representation of your company’s information in the PIB stand & flyer;
- Bus transportation to and from the DEFEA;
- Support by NIDV and the local liaison during the exhibition.
